Powered by The NGHBRHOOD Library, the Book Fair brought Oakland youth and families together for an afternoon centered on reading, creativity, and community, with free books, activities, and prizes available to every person who attended.

In partnership with the Oakland Boys & Girls Club and alongside community partners MOCHA, Kingmakers of Oakland, Suenos of Sisterhood, Storyland Collective, and Chapter 510, we created a space where young people could discover new books, explore their creativity, and experience learning as something that belongs in the community.
